People want a number. First days are loud. Many people report the worst evenings in week one and another dip in weeks two to six when the novelty of “I’m quitting” wears off. After that, the habit is quieter until a trigger (travel, alcohol, a fight, being alone in a hotel).
Ninety-day “reboots” are popular in NoFap culture. They can be a useful container. They are not a medical reset with guaranteed superpowers. Measure progress as more clean evenings, shorter slips, and faster recovery, not a calendar countdown that collapses if you miss one day.
